November E-Update

November Fun Night

This months fun night was held on Saturday, November 23rd and we took 12 excited members to the Roadrunners hockey game in Topeka. We were invited by the Seaman FFA Chapter to tailgate with them and other Topeka FFA chapters and to attend the game and we gladly accepted. We started of the night by tailgating in the parking lot and eating grilled hotdogs. Then we headed in to cheer the Roadrunners Hockey team on. After the game we went to Freddy's to enjoy some ice cream to end a perfect night. Even though the Roadrunners lost 3-2 the Holton FFA Chapter had a great time by meeting new friends and a surprise of being invited to going onto the ice.

Conservation Speech

This year’s conservation speech topic was "Soil to Spoon. There were  members from Holton and Jackson Heights. Tristan Parks was 1st and Dean Klahr 2nd. The judges said the placings were especially close. Parks headed to state and narrowly got beat out for first.
